The Raw Review-02/05/2016

24 hours after WWE Payback, the WWE superstars traveled to St. Louis, Missouri which was the destination of this week’s edition of Monday Night RAW. At Payback, Roman Reigns and AJ Styles were involved in an incredible battle, with “The Phenomenal One” making it his purpose to pry away the WWE World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns. However, towards the end of the night, it was Reigns who reigned supreme, and walked away with the title.
However, AJ received an immediate rematch for the championship, and he will take on Roman at WWE Extreme Rules in an “Extreme Rules” match. On the flip side, the McMahon siblings, who’ve never been able to see eye to eye were made the co – authority figures of RAW by the chairman of the board. So this week’s episode was expected to be a memorable one; what happened on the show? Let’s take a look.
WWE opened the show by looking at what happened in the main event of Payback.

One of the co – authority figures, Stephanie McMahon made her way out to loud boos, but this didn’t hinder the “Billion Dollar Princess”. Stephanie talked about working hand in hand with Shane O’Mac, and tried to make good with her brother. She also said that she had a peace offering for Shane, who then made his out to the ring to loud cheers from the St. Louis crowd.
Stephanie handed Shane the picture his father stomped on before WrestleMania, but Shane wasn’t impressed. He asked Stephanie to give him ideas instead, and both the authority figures went back and forth about what can be done, and took the fans’ vote. However, just as Shane was about to give Stephanie his ideas, Kevin Owens interrupted him!
KO talked about beating Sami last night, and asked for a match for the IC title. He sidestepped Shane, saying he knows Shane won’t do the right thing, and instead started pacifying Stephanie. Stephanie then said that there was a rematch clause in his contract when he lost the title, but before she could go any further, “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro made his way out.
Cesaro talked about making The Miz tap last night, and talked about getting a rematch. Shane McMahon then announced a number one contender’s match between the two, and it was right after the commercial.
